Zong Wins 5 Awards at Dragons of Asia 2026 and Brings Home Gold for Pakistan

There’s big news for Pakistan’s telecom industry.  Zong 4G has won 5 awards at the Dragons of Asia Awards 2026.  Zong became the only telecom operator in Pakistan to win a Gold award for its 5G campaigns.

These awards are presented by Campaign Asia-Pacific and feature Asia’s biggest brands. In this competition, Zong took home 2 Gold, 1 Bronze, and 2 Black Dragon Awards. The winning campaigns were 5G Launch, Aisa Hai Future, Zong My5 2025, and Pro Max Hattrick.

But it’s not just about the awards. The real story is that Zong isn’t just presenting 5G as a new technology. It’s helping people understand how it can actually make their lives better.

Bringing Technology to Everyday People

According to Hina Ali, Deputy Director Marcom at Zong, the goal from the start has been to make the future easier for people. She said: “Technologies like 5G and AI can change everyday life, but their impact only matters when people understand how they can benefit from them.”

She added that these 5 recognitions reflect Zong’s strategy, creativity, and ability to understand consumers. They also confirm how Zong is working to lead the 5G era in Pakistan. According to Hina Ali, Zong will continue experimenting with new platforms, new formats, and AI-enabled insights, but will always keep communication human and relevant.

That’s why Zong chose storytelling over technical jargon in its campaigns. Instead of just calling 5G “faster internet,” it showed how 5G can improve education, healthcare, business, and daily tasks.

From a Connectivity Provider to a Technology Company

This recognition at Dragons of Asia is also important because it proves that Zong is no longer just a telecom company. It has now become a technology services enterprise that uses next-generation connectivity, AI, and digital capabilities to create value across its entire ecosystem.

Zong’s focus now is on delivering the “real meaning” of 5G to people. That means connectivity built around the customer. To do this, Zong is working on 3 things: Ultimate Customer Experiences, a wide portfolio of Products and Services, and AI-enabled solutions that benefit customers, businesses, and society.

In short, Zong is no longer just selling data and calls. It’s offering solutions that make businesses smarter, make schools and hospitals digital, and make everyday life easier for people.

“Aisa Hai Future” Is More Than Just a Slogan

Zong’s most popular campaign, “Aisa Hai Future,” came out of this exact thinking. The goal wasn’t just to announce that 5G is coming. The goal was to show people what that future will actually look like.

Through this campaign, Zong tried to help people connect 5G to their own lives. How factories will become smart. How better treatment will be possible remotely. And how even small businesses can use big technology.

Throughout this journey, Zong also has the global support of  China Mobile, one of the world’s largest telecom companies. Because of this partnership, Zong isn’t just launching 5G in Pakistan — it’s also developing real use cases for it.

Pakistan is still moving toward commercial 5G. Policy and spectrum matters are still ongoing. But this win at Dragons of Asia proves that Pakistani companies can also build a name for themselves at a regional level.

For consumers, it means 5G benefits will be explained in simple language. For businesses, it means new 5G, IoT, and AI-based solutions are on the way. And for the tech community, it’s encouragement that both innovation and creative communication are possible in Pakistan.

In the end, these 5 awards are a milestone for Zong. But the biggest takeaway is that the company has proven technology only succeeds when it’s explained in people’s own language.

“Aisa Hai Future” is no longer just a slogan. After Dragons of Asia 2026, it has become a promise for Pakistan’s digital future.
