Punjab’s Green Tractor Programme Phase-IV has received an overwhelming response, with more than 214,000 farmers applying for the scheme.

Under the programme, 10,000 tractors will be distributed through transparent balloting, with a subsidy of Rs750,000 on each tractor.

Meanwhile, around one million farmers are benefiting from the Kissan Card initiative. The government has also completed the final selection of 1,500 young agricultural graduates, with field activities scheduled to begin from September 16.

The initiatives aim to promote agricultural mechanisation, provide financial support to farmers and improve agricultural productivity across Punjab. 🌱
